Assessment
Gateways offers a broad spectrum of testing including psycho-educational testing to identify learning disabilities, dyslexia, processing deficits, and attention issues; achievement testing to identify current academic achievement levels; and informal assesments to identify current skill competencies. Test data and information from other specialists and parents are synthesized and used to develop a personalized educational plan.

Programs
Gateways’ specialized programs have been documented through research to be effective and include Orton-Gillingham based language programs, Lindamood-Bell programs, and Fast ForWord programs. Gateways' learning programs are carefully structured, and content is taught systematically using a variety of multisensory materials and techniques.

Support
Gateways' students and their families have a team on their side. Frequent conferences allow parents to understand their child’s needs and monitor progress, and they learn how to work more effectively with their child at home. With parent or guardian permission, Gateways' staff will communicate with teachers and participate in SST and IEP meetings. We are also happy to consult with other professionals and coordinate services.
